This project has been designed as a pre-mission activity for primary students attending VSSEC's Mission to M.A.R.S. (Mars Australian Research Station).

Teacher Notes discusses the use of 'Foldables' and Cooperative Mastery Learning and outlines the Research Project, provides an Assessment Rubric and links to Internet Resources. Foldables can be tricky and may take practice, but they're well worth the effort. Folding instructions are also available on YouTube.

Student Research Project provides students with the goals and data necessary for the project, including step-by-step instructions for folding and assembly of the project.
